Compete for innovation and welcome the event! "The 2nd MATLAB Cup Global (China Division) UAV Competition" final was successfully held

The MATLAB Cup Global University Student Drone Competition (China Division) was initiated by MathWorks (MathWorks Minidrone Competitions), aiming to cultivate students' model-based design thinking and problem-solving ability, so as to help students understand advanced model design concepts in the industry.

The second competition in the China Division in 2021 will be jointly organized by the School of Aeronautics and Astronautics of Shanghai Jiao Tong University and the Student Innovation Center. The organizer, together with all parties, adheres to the concept of "fairness, openness and innovation", and strives to make the competition an influential and in-depth competition in the industry. During the competition, the students improved their practical ability and comprehensive ability, and promoted exchanges and cooperation with others.

On October 17, 2021, more than 30 preliminary teams competed fiercely for the final qualification with the theme of "vision-based path tracking". After the supervision and review of experts in related fields from a number of aerospace colleges, 10 outstanding teams were finally promoted.

On September 25, 2022, the finals were successfully held online.

 

At the opening, Mr. Wu Shufan, Executive Deputy Dean of the School of Aeronautics and Astronautics of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, gave a speech, introduced the preparations for the finals and wished all the participating teams great achievements.

Before the official start of the competition, the jury team checked the track to ensure the fairness of the competition.
