Professor Duan is recognized as a National Candidate of the “Hundred, Thousand, and Ten Thousand Talents Program” and is selected by the “100 Outstanding Young Scientists Program” of CAS. He is awarded the title of Shanghai Young Star of Science and Technology, and is accredited as a preeminent national level scientist. He is also on the expert panel of the National Science and Technology Special Program and the National High-tech R&D Program (863 Program). He is a member of the Committee of Space Machinery of the Chinese Society of Space Research.
