CH On June 3, the final evaluation of Shanghai Jiao Tong University's "Fan Xing: Let Ordinary Voices Be Heard" Inspirational Role Model event was held at the Minhang Campus Student Center. After 15 candidates delivered their presentation defenses one by one, faculty judges from 6 university departments and student judges from 23 schools collectively cast their votes, ultimately selecting the 2026 Shanghai Jiao Tong University Inspirational Role Models.

The barriers of mountains never obscured her gaze toward the vast sky—an encounter in her youth with fighter jets soaring through the clouds planted in her heart the seed of a dream to reach for the aerospace realm. Carrying this aspiration, she studied diligently, pressed forward with determination, and was admitted to the School of Aeronautics and Astronautics at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, where she continued to write the chapter of her youth on a broader stage. On her academic journey, she persevered from dawn to dusk, delved deep into her major, and consistently ranked among the top of her class. She received honors including the National Scholarship for Undergraduates and the National Inspirational Scholarship, and was selected for the "Mo Flight" program, receiving funding from the China Scholarship Council for overseas study and exchange. From the classroom to the laboratory, from research project initiation to innovation competition arenas, she dared to explore and excel—winning the top prize (Special Award) in the "Open Challenge and Command the Arena" category of the 19th "Challenge Cup" competition, and achieving further success in the China International College Students' Innovation Competition. While pursuing her aerospace dream, she also extended warmth to those around her: serving as a student organization leader, supporting faculty and fellow students, and demonstrating responsibility through university anniversary services, event volunteering, and hometown student aid programs. In the future, she will continue to forge ahead with the spirit of aerospace, embracing the vast sea of stars with the vigor of her youth.
