Currently, the domestically developed aircraft C909 has entered a critical stage of industrialization and internationalization. As a member of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) and a key intersection of the Belt and Road Initiative, Vietnam—with its strong aviation demand and numerous regional airports—serves as an ideal testing ground for Chinese-made civil aircraft to expand globally. Against this backdrop, the practice team centered its efforts on the theme of "Chinese-made Aircraft Going Global," aligning with the national strategies of promoting high-end equipment "going out" and transitioning toward green and low-carbon development. The team contributed youthful wisdom to building a new development paradigm.

The team conducted visits to four locations across two countries, engaging with over 10 government agencies, enterprises, and universities. They carried out more than 20 field investigations and interviews, completing comparative flight tests, passenger surveys, and in-depth research on tourism and airlines. The team collected over one million data points and systematically evaluated the C909’s short-runway takeoff and landing capabilities, adaptability to high-temperature and high-humidity environments, and operational economics. Using self-developed flight simulation programs and economic analysis models, they conducted comparative analyses of the C909 and competing aircraft on typical routes. Their research yielded findings on route optimization, pricing strategies, and green branding, providing actionable insights to support airlines in improving their operations.

Throughout the practice, the team produced six thematic research reports and seven SCI/EI papers. They received letters of appreciation from COMAC (Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China) and Vietnamese authorities and were featured in authoritative media outlets such as  People.cn and Guangming Online, generating widespread social impact.
