报告内容:In recent years, several new aircraft projects have been initiated. Althoughthe aircraft configuration looks similar, reductions in cost by nearly a factor of 3 since the 707 have been achieved through improvements in aerodynamics, structures and materials, control systems, and propulsion technology.Breakthroughs in many fields have provided evolutionary improvements in performance, theareas discussedin the forum are as follows: 1.emission and noise; 2.propulsion technology including new possible propulsion airframe integration configurations; 3. challenges and possible solutions of aerodynamic design; 4.green operations and integrated transportation system; 5.all-electric configurations; 6.design technology and global landscape of aerospace industry.
 
报告人简介:Prof Jeffrey JUPP is a well-known aircraft designer, hehas served successively asChief Engineer and Director Technicalof Airbus, also the visiting professorofBath University and Shanghai Jiao Tong University.He contributed to andleadthe group responsible for the aerodynamic definition of the wings for the successful BAe 146 Regional Jet, the Airbus A310 and the modified wing for the A300-600, also,he was responsible for supporting the BAC 111 and the Concorde, and then the conceptual work for the FLA (A400M) military transport, including metal and carbon wing alternatives, what’smore, heis supporting the A380 wing team, both on the structural design and on advising a team working on a new flexible “data for manufacture” release process.
